I think that it depends in how are the students, because we know that there are introverted students and we as teachers can help them to interact with others and share information like likes and dislikes, and they can be sure what they say, it is important because they become confident of what they are.

We have to create several kind of activities in class or online in the way all of them participate, activities like sing songs, participate in conversations in english, that they make surveys to ask others students, etc.

To be creative can help students to be motivated to speak and write in english.

These topics are very interesting, because they help us to motivate our students  by providing them with tools, where they interact with classmates and teachers, learning by playing. motivational skills can be defined as actions or strategies that elicit a desired behavior. Learning by playing makes students self-confident. the teacher is facilitator of learning an intermediary. Help our students to their learning as well writing and conversation through practice and exercises where they participate and that the desired objective is achieved.

This question is very interesting because if we think about the word motivation we will realize that is a word that includes knowing the needs because we cannot motivate students before knowing them, when we already know them we can use resources and activities according to their needs for example, if we have students who are afraid to make mistakes we have to teach them that mistakes are part of their learning process, we can say that as they we have made mistakes this will help them to speak and write because students do not like to speak and write, they are afraid to make mistakes, that their classmates or the teacher will laugh at them, and not to find adequate words to express themselves well.

 As teachers we have to change the idea that mistakes are bad, we also have to involve students in a good environment that instead of laughing they help each other, we can use topics they like, movies, songs, games interactive activities to introduce them to the English language also the best way to motivate students to write is by giving them good feedback they will know that their work matters as a result they will like to write and will have confidence in them.
